The Latest Ethminer for Windows – Crypto Mining Blog
All About BTC, LTC, ETH mining spil well spil other alternative crypto currencies
Ethminer 0.9.41-genoil-1.0.4b3 (source) is the latest release of Genoil’s CUDA miner forked from the official ethminer that is designed to work on Nvidia CUDA GPUs, but will also work on AMD OpenCL GPUs spil well. The latest version adds some useful features for both AMD and Nvidia miners, tho’ there is not much of a difference ter terms of spectacle compared to older releases, so do not expect to see quicker hashrate. Ter fact the hashrate on AMD GPUs has bot decreasing overheen time due to the enhancing size od the DAG files used by the miner for mining Ethereum’s Ether (ETH) coins.
The latest release contains more advanced benchmark options that permit you to check how vertoning switched or will switch ter time, there is an option to set a custom-made DAG storage folder and even support for stratum mining without a proxy, albeit presently limited to support only for Coinotron with more pools to come. Wij ran a quick test to check how the hashrate switched overheen time inbetween block 1 and block 1 million of Ethereum on an AMD Radeon R9 280X GPU and on Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 GPU. Spil you can see from the results below the show has dropped fairly a bit on AMD, but has not switched on Nvidia, do note however that Nvidia-based movie cards are slower ter terms of mining vertoning for Ethereum… at least for the ogenblik.
GeForce GTX 970:
Block 1 – 17.31 MHS
Block 1M – 17.31 MHS
Block 1 – 25.95 MHS
Block 1M – 21.49 MHS

How are you getting 17MHS out of your 970? I’m only getting
7MHS with mine. Is it because I’m using Windows?
Do not use Windows 8/Ten for Ethereum mining, go for Windows 7 or Linux for best spectacle.
For GTX 750 Ti GPUs you should go for Linux only to get best spectacle.
Ah, so windows Ten is my kwestie then. Thanks for peak!
R9 280X 26 MHS NOT CONFIRMED
So how much is 960
You can mine on win Ten , but you will have to use 347.52 win7 x64 nvidia drivers, also you will have to compile miner with cuda 6.Five and compute Five. Two support. You can read more on cudaminer forums https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/2227/cuda-miner/p29 , there is also succesfully compiled miners for old driver with compute Five. Two support , made them because i didnt desired to install win7 just for mining. tested on 970+Two×,950 setup.
p.s. 960 and 970 works fine with old driver by default , 950 will require tinkering with driver infs , because at time driver wasgoed released , 950 wasnt out.
I’m getting Ten.47 MH/s out of my nVidia GeForce 660 TI mining Ethereum on a Win 7 machine using ethminer-cuda-0.9.41. At current exchange rates, I’m earning about half of what an Antminer S7 earns mining Bitcoin now just with my old nVidia card mining Ethereum.
@Mo35 thanks for the advice! I’ll undoubtedly have to look into that this weekend when I have time to tinker!
haha i mine with 20-21 Mh with my 970 its this miner fake?
It is possible to get higher spectacle, the above results are with default settings and no tweaking of the GPUs.
My GTX 960 can only do 10Mh/s on Windows 7. Will it run swifter if I switch the OS to Ubuntu
Most likely will not make much difference, but you can attempt if this will help a bit if you have not overclocked your movie card: http://cryptomining-blog.com/7341-how-to-squeeze-some-extra-performance-mining-ethereum-on-nvidia/
im using windows XP. is it suitable to run on it?
I have a card Asus HD 7850 2G and Windows 7
How many hashrate getting?
How you can sumulate any block of ethereum blockchain ?
It is very interesting.
Running Windows Ten (390’s) on one equipment and Ubuntu 15.04 on two others. Windows and genoil don’t seem to like one another however claymore works volmaakt on W10. It’s all about the drivers. Ubuntu 15.04 Server (headless) seems to be the most stable option so far.
Hi, I’m running on Win10 with an R9 390 and getting 29/30MHs with the GPU core running 1115MHz. Should I expect better spectacle if I wasgoed to use Linux? or druppel this card into a Win7 opbergruimte that I have laying around, or is my card pretty much topped out? I’m also using Crimson drivers, I wasgoed reading somewhere about the Catalyst 15.12 drivers being better, but I’m not sure if that wasgoed te reference to using Genoil…
